Buling Wu is the Dean of the College of Stomatology/Shenzhen Stomatological Hospital of Southern Medical University (Pingshan) and a specialist in dentistry and endodontics. During 38 years of practicing, teaching and researching stomatology, Dr. Wu has trained 5 postdoctoral fellows as well as 138 PhD and master’s degree students, published 325 academic papers (70 SCI papers), and edited or coedited 20 monographs. He serves as the Standing Director of the Chinese Stomatological Association, the Director of the 3^rd Geriatric Stomatology Special Committee of the Chinese Stomatological Association, the Vice Director of the 2^nd Endodontics Professional Committee of the Chinese Stomatological Association, a Standing Member of the Education Professional Committee of Chinese Stomatological Association and the Associate Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Prevention and Treatment for Stomatological Diseases.
