Yanmin Zhou is a Doctor of Medicine, a professor, a chief physician and a doctoral supervisor. Dr. Zhou is a fellow of the International College of Dentists, a fellow of the China Branch of the International Team for Implantology (ITI), a professor for the Changbai Mountain Scholar Project, the Vice President of the Chinese Stomatological Association,the Vice Director of the Implantology Professional Committee of the Chinese Stomatological Association, the Vice Director of the Prosthodontics Professional Committee of the Chinese Stomatological Association, the Vice President of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, the President of the Jilin Stomatological Association and the Director of the Dental Implant Professional Committee of the Jilin Stomatological Association and the Associate Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Prevention and Treatment for Stomatological Diseases. He is mainly engaged in research on bone metabolism, bone remodeling, osseoperception, bone substitute materials, the surface treatment of implants, implant-bone bonding strength, the modification of titanium surfaces, the application of PRE and biomechanical properties of dental implants and has published 374 papers, including 96 SCI papers.
